Explore Paul's Wonderful Animal Kingdom: Saltwater Ponds

On opposite sides of Florida, there are two animal lovers who live far apart, but their love for animals keeps them connected. This time, Blake finally came to Paul's home again to bring everyone a unique animal journey and take us into Paul's saltwater pond world full of surprises.

The Chicken Coop and Pigpen Wonders

Then they passed the chicken coop. This chicken coop was carefully built by Hector and looks perfect as if it was bought from a store. There are turkeys and chickens in it, as well as several Polish chickens with different temperaments. Some Polish chickens are very docile, while others are more aggressive and will attack people suddenly. In the pigpen next to it, there are 11 piglets. These piglets are small and cute. They happily rub their feet in the mud. Surprisingly, there is no peculiar smell in the pigpen.

Dreams of a Freshwater Paradise

As they walked, they came to the back of the house. Blake looked at this place and a beautiful picture emerged in his mind: put freshwater fish in this place, add a fountain in the middle, build a dock next to it, and occasionally catch huge catfish. How fun it would be! However, a layer of padding is needed here to make this idea a reality.

The Shark Pool and Chameleon's Color Show

Entering the house, the excitement continues. The first thing that comes into view is a shark pool that is being planned. This pool is expected to hold 5,500 gallons of water. After it is completed, large fish such as sharks, eels, and groupers will be stocked. While waiting for the sharks to arrive, Paul also showed his other "babies". A chameleon lives in a carefully built enclosure. Its color changes with time and mood. Now it is dark red and dark green. It is said that in a few months, it will become bright red, which is very cool.

Paul's Wonderful Saltwater Ponds

Next, they visited Paul's pond. The first pond is a wooden structure. Don't be fooled by its plain appearance. There are many "star residents" living in it. There are strange-looking batfish, agile jack fish, round puffer fish, majestic sharks and elegant rays. These fish come from far away Miami. Paul changes the water in the pond once a month to ensure that they live in a comfortable environment. There is also a leopard grouper in the pond. It is Paul's favorite. It likes to hide under the rocks and swims out happily when it is feeding time.

Another concrete pond is also unique. It looks like a modern coral reef fish tank. The colorful fish in it are dazzling, including noble emperor angelfish, lively blue tangs, elegant French angelfish, and cute clownfish. In addition to fish, there are sea stars, Mexican spiral shells and other marine creatures in the pond, which together form a wonderful underwater world.

A Quail Snack for the Bullfrog

During the visit, Blake also brought some small surprises - a few newly born quails. It turned out that one of Paul's American bullfrogs had a poor appetite recently, and Blake wanted to use these quails to test its appetite. This bullfrog is huge and was "rescued" from an Asian food market. They carefully placed the quail next to the bullfrog, expecting it to feast on it.

Looking Forward to the Shark Arrival

The visit ended in a happy atmosphere. Blake and Paul agreed to come again next time to do a live broadcast specifically for the arrival of the sharks.
