6.5W 80GPH Solar Birdbath Fountain Pump

I was really surprised at the power this thing has. It came with oodles of tubing and everything else I could have needed. It only works when the solar panel is getting enough light, but I already knew that from the review I saw on YouTube. This was a guy that tests these things and someone from poposoap sent him a fountain to test and he had high praise for it. I am working on another project that will have a 100 gallon tank and will be ordering at least one pump from poposoap for it. Possibly 2.

I wish the unit had a battery backup so it would work like the one I purchased previously from you. The description on the website did not have the information regarding the battery backup. The unit works great BUT the solar panel has to be in direct sunlight to work which is annoying. I will call next time to make sure it has the backup before purchasing.

Needed a pump for our birdbath with no electric nearby. This did the trick. It’s not very powerful and it only operates when the sun is out, but it’s a bird bath. Circulates the water enough to attract the birds and pollinators while keeping the algae down. Very satisfied.

My Grandson has several backyard fountains, all solar powered. This is his favorite one, and he asked me to give it a high rating. Powerful and has many different options for nozzles. After 2 weeks power was intermittent. Customer service was awesome. Replacement product sent quickly! Thank you!

I use it to water plants where I do not have an irrigation access. The water source is not exactly clean (runoff pond) and the pump stopped working after one year but after flushing it, it starts to work again. I only need to worry about watering when it is sunny and hot so the solar is great for that.

I was looking for something to use for a little water feature for the yard. Bought this on prime day for additional savings. Picked up 3 plastic planters and this is what I came up with. Pump is in bottom planter,and pumps up to the piece of pipe,that pours into the top bucket. I have the solar hummingbird

The whole system seems to work great. But, I didn't keep the fountain. I already had a fancier fountain that needed plugged in. I replaced the existing pump with this solar system and pump and so far it works great. People have complained that the solar stops working, we've had it (2) weeks and it seems perfect so far. The fountain will of course spray farther if the sun is at noon and then slowly decrease as the sun sinks or is covered by clouds. Because it's solar, it can go anywhere and is free power.

This pump is easy to install, just plug and play. It has a high-quality solar panel, and when the panel is facing the sun, the water gushes out. It also comes with a tubing for DIY water features.

This replaces a 5W pump that I had for 5 years. I decided to get this upgrade to the 6.5W kit. The pump works to perfection. I decided to use my old solar panel because it does store energy and works on cloudy days and up until dusk. The panel that came with this pump works well in sunlight only which is fine if that is all you are looking for. I consider this a successful buy because the pump alone is worth it. Very good value.
